They take you to the main town center for 5$ each way. There is a small market out there (The international market is mostly closed). The Lucaya beach was okay. But we took a private taxi and went to see the Gold Rock Beach which is 26 miles away and it was unbelievably beautiful. We also saw the Disney owned land where they have the "Interceptor" boat from Pirates of the Caribbean. Next to that are also the underwater caves in the National Park. Overall we had a wonderful time during our 8 hr stay at Freeport.

Did not like this port! The only Good thing about it was the Grand Lucayan resort. Hated the taxis and the drivers. There really is nothing to do at this port. But we had fun regardless. I mean you are in the Bahamas. Just make sure if you go out to resort to get back to the taxi stand early because they will make you wait for more passengers!
