Don't get off the boat. The port is small. The market is a long cab ride from the port. I made the mistake of getting off the boat and was very disappointed.

The shops on the jetty where the ship docked were interesting and had loads of souvenirs but you only needed an hour or so to browse. We didn't go beyond because we were told that much of Freeport was under reconstruction following the recent hurricane in 2019.

They have come a long way since the devastation they suffered is recent. We only shopped a little as our excursion was cancelled.

There was virtually nothing here. A few places who literally tries to grab you to go into their small shops. There was only a bar open so we spent most of our time there till we found our taxi to take us back
