Didn’t care for FreePort at all. Actually went back to the ship.

Hubby and granddaughter went to Luycan National Park excursion was great! Excursion for daughter and I was cancelled so we walked the straw market... not much to see. Take a taxi and go somewhere.

Went to Tiano beach but did not get in the water due to the rain and rough seas. Also, Tiano beach cost $5.75 to enter so be prepared to pay $14.00 for the ride per person and $5.75 to enter the beach.

There isn't much shopping on the island. I went on an excursion to the island's botanical gardens. I do highly recommend it. Saw beautiful plants and birds. However, the next time my ship stops at this island, I will not be debarking.

Unfortunately it was a very windy day when we arrived in Freeport. The snorkel excursion we wanted to take was cancelled. We took a taxi to a snorkel beach called Deadman's Reef. Because of the wind and waves, it was definitely not the best day to snorkel and most of the fish were hiding, but we heard from people who had been there before that this is a great place to snorkel and normally you can see lots of fish and Eagle Rays. We still had a wonderful time at this beach and the staff at the little concession area were very nice. We will try it again on our next trip.

There was a public beach area but it was less than acceptable; rocky and rough, very small and absolutely not a place to swim. Shopping was okay, nothing special.

We did a beach & drink excursion. The beach was really nice but took a while to get a drink. The highlight was the bus driver who drove us there and back. He was very knowledgeable and funny at the same time. It wouldn't have been complete without a stop at Senior Frogs before getting back on the ship!
