Love Coco Cay! They is a lot of construction going on right now with the building of the pier and all the additions they are making to the island but it doesn't take away from the experience at all. I was worried we would be hearing the construction the whole time we were there but we didn't. Can't wait to see everything once all the construction is complete.

Pros here - food was included on the island. Depending on your drink package, that might be as well. It's only $25 to rent an umbrella and if you sunburn like me, well worth it. There is lots to do here, but I was so exhausted from Atlantis the day before (from all the standing in groups and waiting forever to go anywhere), so I really didn't get to enjoy the entire island. I'd love to go back and try jet skiing. Cons - It's all sand everywhere, no concrete really to walk on, so wear flip flops or sandals. Allow enough time both ways because you are tendered there and back. I wish I would have left earlier in the day before it got so hot. Watch how much you spend that sea pass also, as the charges add up. It's easy to forget, since you can conveniently use it on the island for shopping!

This was awesome because prior to getting to Cococay, I had no idea it was owned by RC. That was so nice to not have to pay for our food and drinks as they were included. LOTS of activities AND we got to hang out with some of the cruise employees that were taking in on the day! That was really cool to see them enjoying a place that they had probably been to many many times! GREAT FUN!

Love CocoCay! Have gone 4 times and have 2 more stops scheduled! We have been lucky and have been able to go to the island every time. Have heard several people say it had been to tough for the tenders on their visits. Pier coming soon!

LOVE this Island. So beautiful! We rented a Clam Shell for $45 for the 2 of us. It was WELL worth it. No one was allowed to sit within our roped in area or in front of us. We were also right next to the floating bar and the hot dog stand and bathrooms were close. The main benefit for us is we didn't have to wait in line to get tender tickets (Anthem is so big you have to go down early in the morning to get a tender boarding number). Instead, our tickets for the clam shell rental had us wait in the theater at 9 and we were the 2nd or 3rd tender off (Cabanas, early excursions and bungalows were before us).

BRING CASH the straw market only deal in CASH...The Royal Caribbean stores use Sea Pass but cost 3x's more. Snorkling stunk if you cannot go out very far. The snorkle beach area was dirty and TONS of seaweed, but the free swim beach was nice and clean and almost sea weed free. Also you cannot take sea shells even though you can find tons of cool looking ones and if you want to see different sea life bring a piece of bread and break it up in the water for the fish, if you feed them they will ALL come. We had little, fish, then medium fish, then a stingray and then a 3 ft fish come in the very shallows 3-9" (less than a foot) of water to eat the bread or the smaller fish.

We were supposed to visit Cococay, but the weather didn't allow. I do fully understand that the weather is out of the control of Royal Carribean, but I feel like they should do something to compensate their guests if something like this happens. We paid good money for something that we expected to get to do. Maybe ship credit, drink vouchers, or any small token would make us feel better about missing a big part of our trip. Make us feel like they care that we missed a port of call. I was very disappointed in this!
