Once again, we had a fabulous time. We booked the beach club for the first time at CocoCay . So happy we did what a fabulous experience. We had perfect seating right next to the water. Bartenders were great. The lunch and our waiter were absolutely fabulous. Not super busy and not a lot of kids.

Such a beautiful island. We rented a bungalow which I highly recommend especially for a beach day. The food is good and it's so relaxing. If you don't mind the crowds then the main area is fine but if you like it a little quieter then rent the bungalow. The shopping is small but pretty good which is fine because we didn't even know shopping was available. I cannot speak for the island now that it is under construction and what it will be like when it's done. I do not like however that everything has a fee and I'm sure it will be much more so when construction is finished.

Did the wave runner excursion was fun except we ran into a few really wavy patches which were rough. Lunch needs to be served past 1:30 as some people are on excursions the first part of the day. Big improvements since last visit over 10 years ago more bars to get drinks, food stations, and plenty of beach chairs. Can not wait to come back and see all the new features being built for next year( Water park, pier, over the water cabanas).

Perfect day at CocoCay is definitely a work in progress. There is still construction going on (nothing that effects the experience). We rented the beach bungalow and they're away from everything. Good if you want to be alone but for us it was like there was a party going on and we were not invited. The tram that was suppose to transfer you from place to place never showed up to our neck of the woods so we walked everywhere. The paths are just sand that erodes with every drop of rain and are tough to walk on. The water park was slammed and due to circumstances we were only able to go on one ride (paid for an all day pass so it was the most expensive ride ever). I'm sure in time most of these issues will get better but we spent a small fortune on this island and did not get anywhere near the value.

Kayaking and snorkeling were AWESOME! First time for both and both were terrific, but the snorkeling was AMAZING! we fit to snorkel over a WWII era fighter plane, entire shipwreck, with cannon not to mention fish and coral.

We sat our butts on the beach. And it was perfect. Royal did a great job with feeding us while on the island. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough rum in their coco locos lol.
