The transportation was easy to use. Buses and ferries are great. They run on time. Any of the beaches are beautiful. Many people went out on their own, as did we, easy to get anywhere. We went to the Naval Dockyards and Hamilton, Turtle Bay was beautiful too.

We took a island tour from St. George. Traveled the whole island, stopped for lunch at the Frog and Onion, shopped and then went back to the ship. Went out again for the Street Fair, which was cute and then went to the ships lounge.

All the local bars are a must see in St George the locals are very friendly. Visit swizzle in and swagger out.

golfers must play at st. george golf course walking distance from the ship and some beautiful hole along the ocean...tobacco bay snorkeling is excellent...bring rolls from the ship with you and as you break off pieces the fish flock to you...st. catherines beach is nice

Waste of time to dock here. We arrived around 4 PM and everything closed at 5 PM. We went walking after dinner around 7:30 PM but it was dark and we felt uncomfortable walking the narrow streets with no street lights.

St. Georges is a decent port. Not really a lot to see on this side of the island. It is not very busy, and has a lot more history and old historical churches etc to see if you are interested. I reccomend going to St. Catherine's beach and even better is Tabacco Bay beach. Both are within walking distance from the ships port, so dont bother with a taxi or moped here. The plus side to this part of the island is that you are not mobbed by the locals trying to braid your hair or sell you cheap little flutes the moment you step off the ship.
