We did some shopping and of course bought the famous rum cakes in King's Wharf. We had been to the Naval Museum previously and it is interesting to see if this is your first visit. We do recommend the four hour bus tour around the island, as well as St George, a very beautiful town as well as Hamilton. On Wednesdays, go to the evening parade in Hamilton and enjoy the crafts and culture of Bermuda.

Amazing. Clean, safe and convenient Dock Side shops, restaurants. Easy access to cabs, mini buses, tours. Friendly people always willing to help you. Beaches clean with chair and umbrella vendors ($45), clean bathrooms and food if you want. No one will walk up to you and try and sell u anything. U feel safe leaving your stuff on the beach, while u walk and go in water.

Beautiful. Second time in Bermuda. Took the ferry to Georgetown and had a nice day there. Spent the 2nd day in King's Wharf. Shopped and had a Rum Swizzle.

Lots of shops and a nice pub called The Frog and Onion which brews their own beers and ales on site. Warning! It is pricey. Excursion wise, I did the Lighthouse, Pink Sands and Shopping tour. It was nice. You got 45 minutes to shop in Hamilton. You got to see the Gibbs Lighthouse. The tour put us in taxis so, we had a small group and the taxi driver was our guide. He was very knowledgeable.

absolutely loved Bermuda. Beautiful islands with turquoise water and pink sand beaches. We did 3 excursions, Horseshoe Bay Beach, Bermuda Triangle Glass Bottom Boat tour after dark, and Bermuda Aquarium museum and zoo tour and I highly recommend all of them

We took a private RC excursion tour around the island. If you opt to do this request "Edwina" she was FANTASTIC!! We learned so much about the island!! If you do the RC Horseshoe Bay excursion...AVOID the driver Brian!! He was arrogant! It can't hurt him to acknowledge a person and say good morning or hi. He just took the tickets, barked orders "do not get on my shuttle wet and with sand on you. Be at the pickup at 12:30 sharp or you will get left" I mean really...he is doing a BEACH excursion so what does he think will happen when people board his shuttle? I would not do this again through the ship because it costs 29.95 per person when you can get a $7.00 shuttle at the end of the pier there and back. For those that said on the FB RC page the shuttle and taxis make you walk up the hill to them, it's NOT TRUE! There were plenty of shuttles and taxis waiting at the entrance of the beach for anyone needing a ride back to the port.

AMAZING experience! We were only in port for a quick 24 hours but we enjoyed every minute! We didn't plan any excursions or explore the island - we chose to stay nearby the Royal Naval Dockyard and shop at the Clocktower Mall on the first day and enjoy the beach at Snorkel Bay the second day. We didn't regret it. We didn't want to spend time riding around in taxis or on buses - we wanted to enjoy the areas we were close to.

We did one excursion (snorkeling) and one beach visit on our own. I would have liked one more day in port to explore a bit more, but alas ... I love days at sea also. Bottomline, research your ports of call ahead of time (not just the excursions) to learn as much as you can. Being prepared is a great help. Of course, most of these ports are well supported by the local populace ... they know their business and are there to help.
