Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia Port Q&A

4.4
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a relatively inexpensive camera that takes great pictures far away, but can also get wet if some reason that happens on an excursion?

Depending on your budget, the OM System/Olympus TG-7 is a pretty rugged camera, and that's around 500 bucks. Ricoh has the WG series cameras which are also in the rugged category and those run around a few hundred. I believe Kodak and Minolta also have some waterproof/resistant cameras as well. Kinda depends on your budget and what you really need out of the camera.

A relatively inexpensive camera depends on your budget lol we have a GoPro which has been amazing for our trips but they can be pricey depending on the model ($200-$450). Theres a bunch of generic models much cheaper on Amazon for if you wanna go that route.

I purchased a Nikon coolpix camera. it was about $300 a few years ago. Used in galapagos underwater for video and stills. It is a great, sturdy and durable camera.
