This place, this day, this excursion was absolutely amazing and beautiful! We did the Pilots Choice Helicopter flight up to Taku glacier and ice fields on a gorgeous sunny day. Both my husband and I have never experienced such amazing grandeur and beauty ever!

Took advantage of the clear weather and took the Mount Robert's Tram. Great views. Then we took a rental car to Mendenhall Glacier for a couple easy trails. Then stopped at the Alaska Brewing Company taproom before retuning to downtown area.

We rented a car from Juneau Car Rental, and after the glacier went out to St. Theresa Shrine and walked the labyrinth and then to Eagle Beach State Park and there were NO TOURISTS!!
