We did the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest excursion. The whale watching was fun. We saw whales, stellar sea lions, puffins, eagles among other things. So beautiful! The Mendenhall Glacier was breathtaking. However, there wasn’t enough time to hike any of the trails. I would really have liked to do that.

Did the Glacier Gardens and Mendenhall Glacier. Loved it. Got to see a bear and cubs up close at the Mendenhall glacier.

nice town with good shopping area. Did a tour of the Alaskan Brewery here, awesome place. Went to their store and purchased the tour for $20 includes your transportation there and back and generous amount of beer samples.

Mendenhall Glacier is a must! We saw a mamma bear and her two cubs at the glacier. The park rangers did an amazing job making sure everyone was safe.

We chose more sedate activities here. A Princess tour that went to a salmon hatchery, Mendenhall glacier, and the “mandatory”-but-delicious Gold Creek salmon bake. All aspects of this tour were most satisfying. Tip: You can watch salmon doing unscripted spawning in the creek. We loved it.

Excursions to Salmon Hatchery - very improved since our last visit, and Mendenhall White Water Rafting trip - Kendall handled the boat very efficiently. Felt very at ease with him at the helm.
