A very dirty looking city. We did the Glacier/Whale Watching excursion. I wish we had more time at the glacier. Whale Watching was fantastic and managed to see quite a few whales.

Long walk to town or Pay to get there. I think RC should provide free transportation when docking that far out of town.

This is a very fun port we bought through the cruise ship tour and it was a lot of fun we were able to see the things that we wanted to and get the places visited we had on her list

Visites mendenhall glacier and nugget falls. Went the other way from town via a taxi and watched the salmon spawning, amazing! Lunch at twisted fish in town was great

We went to the Mendenhall Glacier, it was a disapointment since the glacier was almost a mile from the Vistor Center so we didn't get close to it.

If you like to shop...... not what I went to Alaska for Did a canoe excursion to Mendenhall glacier, very enjoyable except for all the gear you have to wear, I could barely move....expected a life vest but had to put on boots, fishing overalls as well and I wasn’t fishing, great guide named Megan

Whale Quest and Orca Point was the excursion we took. We did see whale and the captain of the book made sure we were in the right spot to see them. The dinner was excellant. I have to say this was the best Salmon I have every eaten and Mackie agreed with me.
