We booked a whale watching trip with Harv and Marv's - we were on a smaller 12-person boat and saw tons of sea life - many humpback whales, Dall's porpoises, sea lions. Our tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Cheaper than booking through the cruise ship, and we were on a much smaller tour than the ones from the ship (we saw boats out on the water with at least 50 people on there). After, we took the tram up Mt Roberts - it was cool but pretty pricey for what it is ($33 per person!!).

Nice town. Capitol of Alaska. Did the helicopter tour to Mendenhall glacier. Great experience. Nice shops close by. Don’t be surprised by the rain, you may experience it at each port. Normally it comes and goes.

Spent three days here because we missed out connecting flight and didn’t board the ship in Seward. Beautiful city. Mendenhall glacier is worth the ride to see. Red Dog Saloon is a fun bar and Hanger on the Wharf has great food and fun to watch float planes take off.

It was raining so we didn’t do much - ate lunch at Tracy”s Crab Shack which was touristy, very busy, but delicious. Went on a catamaran to see glacier up close prior to arrival - great excursion.

since it was raining we were unable to do the helicopter ride over the glacier, so we rented a cab to take us to the glacier park. beautiful park. just wish the weather cooperated so we could have explored around the park more.
