I did a ship excursion so I didn't get to visit the city. The excursion I did was ok but definitely not worth $300+. I had an excursion credit so I actually paid less than $50 out of my pocket.

So small town nothing to do.

Began as "BAU" followed by the Glacier Wilderness Safari excursion it was challenging, involving a sailing 45-minutes each way, ​glacier walking​, a cano​eing to and fro and snacks. ​I got dressed for the Glow party, we dined at Cagney's ​after I did my normal take a two hour nap and this time I did not wake up until the morning, missing the glow party LOL!

Not sure why we went here. SMALL town, not a lot to do or see. A relaxing day if nothing else, and it was SUNNY and nice unlike other port days.

We didn't really understand why the ship stopped. We arrived at 7 pm and left around 10:30 pm. Many places were closed. It was great for walking. We walked into town and then back to the ship.

Short stay, same day as Skagway. We walked around. Save time for the bald eagle sanctuary. Worth visiting.
