Liberty of the Seas

August 2016 - Liberty of the Seas to Caribbean

Lovely Cruise

In spite of it's large size, Liberty gave us the feel of a smaller ship.  We were able to meet the rest of our party easily.  We were pleased with MY Time Dining and the food served.  The Ice Show and the headline production of Saturday Night Fever were amazing and are a must see.

Jewel of the Seas

August 2015 - Jewel of the Seas to Alaska - Inside Passage

The Perfect Cruise

Jewel of the Sea is a perfect size ship if you want to see and visit with people and not spend time with "amenities". We were a party of 10 and the My Time Dining was great time for us all to collect and discuss what we did or planned to do. If we chose to breakfast at the Windjammer, it didn't take long for the others to find you.  The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.  My sister-in-law said that her dog sledding experience was the most fun she had ever had. Alaska, as always, was beautiful.

Celebrity Constellation

June 2014 - Celebrity Constellation to Europe - Northern Europe

Great Iternery!

This was a fantastic selection of ports.  We had wanted to visit Amsterdam so this was he perfect beginning of our cruise. Although Berlin was a 3 hour bus ride from the port, we probably would never traveled to just Berlin.  The next stop was Talinn, Estonia, a charming town.  Of course, the highlight of the trip was 2 days in St Petersburg.  What a fantastic city.  The art and architecture was overwhelming.

To round out the trip. was Helsinki, Stockhom and Copenhagen, all delightful stops.

I prefer ships the size of the Constitution.  Its large enough to have the amenities I want and small enough that we could meet new friends and see family.  I found the food good and varied.  As a Captain Club member, I was pleased with the "goodies" that you have as a member.  We did have a plumbing problem, our shower leaked.  This was corrected and we were sent a bottle of wine as an apology for our inconvenience.  We had booked our bus from the port to the airport and were delighted to learn that our luggage would go directly to the airport where we would reclaim it. The departure was as easy as had been our embarkation.

pearlmm's Tips

Seattle, Washington - Hotels were pricey since it was peak season. Don't miss Chihuly Gardens.
Copenhagen, Denmark - Don't take the self-guided walking tour unless you are better with maps than we were.
Celebrity Constellation Celebrity Constellation - The Spa has a good assortment of exercise equipment but if you go at peak times, you'll have a wait. Mid morning worked well for us
