August 2020 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Vista

Carnival Sunshine

April 2017 - 8 Night Southern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

Our first time on the Sunshine. We had a great time. The only complaint we had was in the sports bar, just thought they should have more sports channels but we're on a cruise so we don't care. Drink service on the serenity deck was phenomenal, we had the same drink guy throughout the trip, goosty was his name. He would show back up every 5-10 minutes busting his butt to make sure I was okay. If you treat your waiters and waitresses well with extra tips they will give you amazing service. Comedy show was great as usual, zero complaints there. Now, it is a smaller and older ship so it will be a little crowded, you get used to it. There will never not be a seat to eat food though like some people want to complain about. Guys burger and blue iguana and sushi were very good. Our favorite part about the boat was the piano bar, if you like to have a good time and sing along to songs that is the place for you. Eden, the pianist, was the best. He would really get into it and go all out on the piano, he was amazing. We would recommend the ship to anyone.
