After all of the overwhelmingly negative reviews, we were a bit anxious about this cruise. I’m happy to say that we don’t hesitate to give this ship, the crew, the ports, the shows, the food and the accommodations FIVE stars. In 16 cruises on many different cruise lines this is among the best cruise experiences we’ve ever had! As a travel professional, I now have no hesitation in recommending MSC cruise lines and MSC Seaside in particular to my clients who want a little higher level of sophistication, but not stuffy. We had an Aurea balcony cabin with a Bella experience and we purchased a pass to the thermal area of the spa for the week. The private spa sundeck with whirlpool alone was worth the $130 but there was the awesome spa experiences as well. MSC does some things differently than other cruise lines, but it’s not better or worse. The other cruisers (many non-Americans of all nationalities) we found to be more courteous than fellow cruisers on other cruise lines. One drawback is that the Yacht Club takes the whole front of the ship and there is no access for other guests. Overall, we will definitely cruise MSC again.

This ship is older and smaller, but the service has been very good! The food quality is also very good! A few hiccups, which can always happen, but all was made right quickly and with a great attitude. Cuba was amazing - a place everyone should experience. Ports are convenient and accessible to the cities. Overall a great cruise experience.

This ship is older and smaller, but the service has been very good! The food quality is also very good!
