This is my 3rd cruise, but 1st Carnival cruise and I prefer Royal Caribbean. The food taste, availability, and variety was poor. There were not many activities in the day time other than Bingo, only 1 pool bar was open and it took quite a while to get our drinks. The workers were not as pleasant as Royal Caribbean. On the other hand, our room steward was great and knew everyone on a first name basis.
