Just finished a wonderful week on the divina. The staff was very nice and food was great. The shows are amazing. Our 15 year old had a blast also we enjoyed the 4d theatre, bowling and race car. This was our third time on the divina and we were able to book on the seaside while on board. 🤗

We were on the seaside the week of Easter. It is a beautiful ship and we had a great time. We love being able to meet people from all around the world. We have been on the Divina several times so a lot of this review will be in comparison to the Divina. Cabin and room attendant The interior cabin was smaller than on the Divina. The main places you noticed you were in the bathroom (shower mainly) and the closet space. Our room attendant was wonderful! He was always available if we needed anything and did a fabulous job. Activities We did the family fun plan where you pay $100 and actually get $160 in credit. My 15-year-old son and husband really liked the Formula One race car. I think my teenager could have stayed there the entire cruise! They keep the fastest times for the whole cruise and he actually ended up being fifth! He was thrilled! We also enjoy the outdoor movies that they do at night time. The outdoor screen is huge! I would like to see them do a little better with this. It seems on carnival they promote this more and they have popcorn and ice cream available while you’re watching the movie. We also did the zip line couple of times and that was fun. The waterslide on seaside is much better than on divina. The theater shows are very good. The costumes and make up are outstanding. We do like the shows on Divina a little better. They are a little bit longer and the theater is much bigger. Dining room and buffet area I liked on this ship that they are two different buffets that you can go to. We ended up mainly going to the one on deck 16 and it seemed less chaotic than the one on eight. ( I think that was the floor ) The food at the buffet was always good and we never had to fight for a table. The dining room waitstaff was very good. They were friendly and gave good service. On most cruises we have been on there has been an every day menu that you can choose from if you don’t like what is offered on the daily menu. But this cruise did not have that every night. One specialty night pretty much just had seafood offerings so if you didn’t like seafood or were allergic there wasn’t your normal chicken or steak to fall back on. But other than that one night everything was very good. However the chocolate lounge that they have is very good! And has great coffee. Embarkation/disembarkation Embarkation was a breeze and no problem at all. Disembarkation was way later than they had scheduled. I don’t know why they never said. It wasn’t a problem it just took a lot longer than usual. We had a fantastic cruise and will be back on the seaside in September. We do however prefer the Divina. We like the layout of the Divina better. The seaside still seems short staffed in a lot of areas and overtime that should improve.
