January 2020 - 14 Night Western Caribbean (New York Roundtrip) Cruise on Norwegian Bliss
Big Ship, Lots and Lots of People
The Bliss is a beautiful ship! The dining rooms had delicious food however, as the cruise went on, the main entreés had less choices. Do breakfast in either Taste or Savor, as the buffet was sooooooooo crowded and it took forever to find a table. Activities on this ship didn't have as many choices add the other NCL ships. If you're going to seder only 1 show, go see Jersey Boys! Fantastic! Cagneys and La Cucina are a must do!
If it's just adults traveling, and you don't need to dip in the pool (which was always crowded), check out Spice H2O on deck 17 aft. Hot tubs, has a nice watery feature to walk thru, quiet. You can sit and relax and get some sun.
As for us, we prefer the smaller ships. This was just way too crowded for us.

A little late, but cruise memories that will last a lifetime!
At first I thought 14 nights would be too long. Secret is to pace yourself, try to eat as you normally would, don't go crazy. A few days of non drinking also. The Escape is a beautiful ship, enjoy her!

Cruise tips
Stayed in port, had some food and drinks at the local tourist trap bar. Walked around, saw flamingos, had a fish pedicure. Relaxed and just hung out for the day.
Beautiful scenery, went to the rain forest and Dunns River Falls. Had some Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee- really good! Only negative thing was the garbage on the sides of the roads. For being a tourist area, in my opinion it should have been a little cleaner.
Norwegian Escape
Explore her! Take time and walk around. Spice H2O is a great place, 2 hot tubs, lots of chairs, bar, and a grotto water feature to walk thru. Make sure you check out the Waterfront.
Did a half hour/ 45 minute excursion on a boat around the island, then hung or at the pool. Drinks and foods not included on the island.
Live nearby, been here many times.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We did a non NCL excursion to the sloth and monkey farm. Had a personal driver and he took us on a tour of the island stopping at a beach for about an hour.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
Love GSC, been here a few times. However not so enjoyable this time. With a mega ship like this and so many passengers, couldn't find a seat so we settled for chairs behind the grill. Ended up going back to the ship early. Disappointed because I was really looking forward to a chill out beach day.
Been here a few times, each time doing a different excursion. This time we did Daytona Raceway, I highly reccomend this "behind the scenes" tour!
Nice! Did Playa Mia Day Resort, cooking excursion. Great excursion to wind down the cruise with.
Walked around town, did some shopping and did the submarine excursion. Very humid so went back to the ship right after.
Norwegian Bliss
Explore the ship. There's so many hidden things (public sundeck on deck 17 (?) forward. Shares a bar with Vibes. There's a hot tub and lounge chairs. Also make sure you check out the Observation lounge. They serve a light breakfast buffet and lunch and snacks throughout the day. Beautiful views!
