October 2015 - Regal Princess to Canada, New England, New York
The ship is new, so it is very clean. But the ship is too big, holds 3,500+ passengers. There were long lines for embarking/disembarking; long lines for the elevators before/after the show time. The food in the Horizon Buffet are poorly prepared. Meats are over cooked and dry. Soups are salty. The cooktail shrimp is pretty fresh, but the cooked shrimps were over done and very dry. They provided some orient cuisine, but none of them were cooked right. They were nothing more than just dumping different vegetables mixed with dark brown sauce, which looks bad and tastes awful. The food in the dinning room were also disappointing. The steak is dry and tough. Lobster was not juicy tender. The dinner rolls were rock hard and cold. But their desserts were very good. The entertaiment and activities are well arranged.
