November 2015 - Allure of the Seas to Caribbean - Bahamas
This was an Incredible enormous cruise ship. To have been able to experience your various venues such as Mama Mia, Ice Show, Comedy Club and of course the Aquatic shows was very AMAZING... However, some areas in the process of the dining experience and time schedules we have missed out in coordination, communication and quality of food. First night dining food was warm to the touch not very palatable lack of taste. My Sirloin and my Husband NY Steak was very dry and almost rubbery like heated in a microwave not freshly cooked but already prepared prior to ordering. Breakfast was a nightmare each area sent passenger to go get food at different areas due to in extensive lines. All areas were passengers were directed to go by crew were also full to capacity. Lines extended down the hall pass the elevators and down the stairs. The Windjammer, Park Café, Solarium and to many on line the breakfast at the wipe out café ran out of food after people had stood in line for over 35 minutes to get breakfast. Once again directing passenger to go back to the Windjammer. I guess in many aspect if we have over 6,000 passengers we need to be able to accommodate all passengers in a much better fashion during meal time. We meet a couple how his wife was on a wheel chair and there wait time on an elevator was over 45 min just to enjoy a meal, shows, pool side and etc. This ship was lacks design for special need passenger and/or elderly, also food quality as per express by many during passenger conversation at different show venues and while disembarking. Maybe something bigger and amazing as this ship is nevertheless lacks quality some areas and need much improvements to attract passengers to cruise for a longer period of time if this is what you are going to experience on a short cruise.
