Great Ship
Norwegian Getaway
Sail date: September 26, 2015
We have cruised with Norwegian many times, and the Getaway is by far our favorite ship. We really enjoyed our balcony stateroom which was quite roomy with lots of storage space. The shower even seemed a bit larger on this newer ship.
We ate dinner every night in Savor, which is a smaller version of the main dining room - much more intimate where we could get a table for two. The food was delicious with many items to choose from. We have always been a fan of their Freestyle Dining, which lets you dine whenever you like with no assigned seating. We had breakfast and lunch most days at their buffet on the 15th floor, where they have a great variety of foods for every taste.
The itinerary was fun even though we missed Nassau because of Hurricane Joaquin. We'd definitely take this cruise again!

We enjoyed the smaller dining room Savor - no charge but the same great food as the main dining room.
