If it weren't for the free drinks included and (some) of the friendly staff, I wouldn't even rate this a 1 star cruise. Upon arrival, they set the wrong luggage outside our door (which "has never happened in the past 9 years"). Luckily we are honest people and didn't take what we wanted from that bag and return it back in the hallway. What made us even more angry was they didn't even let us know it was there with a simple knock...they left it in the hallway for anyone to come by and take!! The man we dropped our ONE bag off with at 12pm said it'd be about 2 hours to get it, so we figured ok, give or take, we should definitely have it by 4pm, so we won't bother grabbing a change of clothes or anything. Customer service acted like they didn't even care when we called about our bag and said we would have it by 8pm, but we finally got them to put a priority on our baggage to the room. We also had to call them back because our cabin sink wouldn't drain...which they fixed right away but it clogged right away again the next day.
Then there's the maintenance. Holy cow. Each day something was roped off for painting the boat, a pool was closed down for maintenance, or (my personal favorite) the front of the boat was closed on the very last night so we couldn't walk out and see the sunset. Their explanation? Oh we have to do some work up front. On the very last night?! Really?! Why the hell would you do all of this while you have passengers?!! There's got to be a better time for all of your new paint and upkeep that doesn't hinder everyone's cruise. The boat was already small enough to not keep us out of areas we should be able to go! Not to mention the pools got drained and closed off around midnight every night, which would have been nice to know.
The food was crap unless you ate at a restaurant, and most of it was cold even though it was under a "heater". Needless to say, we will never go back on this ship.
