We cruised on the Pride in November 2009. It was a really nice ship and the Baltimore port was super convenient to us. We had an obstructed French door balcony, which didn’t actually open, so we couldn’t go outside, but the view was perfectly nice, and the price was within our budget. This was a smaller ship than we had gone on before, but we really enjoyed our vacation!

This is an old review as we sailed on this ship in 2009, but our week on the Carnival Liberty was one of our best vacations! We had our family of five (me, hubby, and our then 11-year-old daughter, 3-year-old son and 1-year-old son) in a family ocean view room. I’m not even sure these rooms are the same as when we went, but if they are, I highly recommend them! HUGE window was even better than a balcony for a family traveling with very young children, and the room was definitely spacious enough for all of us. The kids clubs were great and the food was excellent! The staff were all extremely friendly (our room steward stopped me from walking out of my room with my skirt all stuck up in the back!!!) and we felt like our waiter was family by the end of the trip!
