April 2014 - Majesty of the Seas to Caribbean - Bahamas
Arrived on boat, unpack and not have to worry about a schedule or food plans. Our Dinning Room attendants > Renan and Russ and Stateroom attendant > Esther, helped to make our trip special & memorial. WOW! All employees were pleasant and helpful.
Disappointed the food was just OK and not spectacular as RC was on our last cruise. I always tried different food/dessert & etc. Windjammer offered a quick meal with different options & variations. I was disappointed white chicken breast was not on the menus (only thigh). Tea was un drinkable.
This ship is old but has been taken care of. We did have a problem w/ plugs coming out of recepticals & toilet not flushing.
Over all, it was a nice way to celebrate our 50th anniv. It would have been nicer if it had been a "no smoking ship", better entertainment and others dressed better for the Main Dinning Room (no shorts, flip flops, etc)
Loved my ocean view stateroom and where our room was located. When an elevator was not available, stairs were convenient near by. The ship was kept clean and quite. Would prefer a talk about shopping/options at different locations w/ suggestions and not "promo sales talk".
A cruise is still the best way to travel.
