My problem with reviews such as this is as follows: When you write a review, critique the ENTIRE cruise (from embarkation to debarkation), not just complain about one portion of your cruise. How was your cabin, your cabin stewards, entertainment, activities, etc. Some people get so wrapped up in one thing that they let it ruin an otherwise great vacation. I have been on 83 cruises and on each one could find one thing I did not like, but for your vacation dollar, NOTHING is better than a wonderful cruise.

I'm sorry, but I had to stop at the counting of baked beans...
In reply to the above comments. I wrote the original feedback. I did say the entertainment, food, service and cabin were all rubbish. I am therefore puzzled as to what else needed to be included. I did not include the region in the feedback as the scenery was the same whether we went with this cruise line, another cruise line or even a local ferry. One thing that I failed to mention was that all the complaints to staff came from the European and British passengers. The Americans on board would only moan to fellow passengers but when asked by the staff, they replied everything was great. As this cruise line mainly caters for the American market, then they can get away with poor service and shoddy food which the British simply would not accept, and it would rather seem the American passengers are happy to put up with poor value tat. I hope HAL will read this because for no sensible reason whatsoever they impose a very limited time to receive their on-line feedback forms which if you are cruising prior to a big public holiday like Christmas followed by follow on hotel stays then it is virtually impossible to get the forms returned in time. I assume they prefer it that way, on the basis that no feedback is better than bad feed back.
LOL I for one, being a Canadian, would not winge and moan to fellow passengers but promptly send back the prison food if it was inadequate. It is a shame that this cruise did not live up to your standards, and you should reach out to HAL, especially with pictures about how poor their service was. After all, nothing worse than a mutiny! Y'ar, we be taking ova the Kitchen!
