Wrong Name on Airline Ticket

You would think that as much as I travel, I would have noticed this when I booked ... but my name was wrong on my airline ticket ... Debbie vs Deborah ...it's taken me 2 days to finally get it corrected!  As we've said numerous times on this site - CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS!

That reminds me - my car rental reservation is mis-spelled (BDReble rather than BDRebel).

I really should call and see if it matters.

Everyone has become so picky nowadays about identification matching exactly to license/passport and credit card, it's worth correcting before you go to avoid a possible conflict...

Thanks for the reminder.  Once my husband's name on his airline ticket read Mrs. We didn't notice until we were at the airport. It wasn't a problem luckily.

Great reminder! Complacency will always bite you in the rear end.

That happens to me quite a bit. I've never had a problem with it in the past -- just a bit embarrassing for both me and the ticket agent.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check our documents again to be sure.

Great reminder.  Once had just one letter wrong on my plane ticket and the TSA agent sent me back to the counter to correct it.

And then there was the time I accidentally booked airfare to Portland Oregon instead of Portland Maine ......

Oh my goodness!  Are you serious?  Kinda funny I think.  I do hope it worked out okay for you.

It did ... we caught it long before the trip and SWA always allow free changes - that's why I try and use them exclusively....
