Would you be willing to pay for "Nanny Service" (Babysitting)?

If you were able to reserve an accredited background checked Nanny for certain days and times on a cruise, would you do it?  If the rate was hourly, what would you be willing to pay?

Thankfully, not our problem. It is an interesting idea though. Growing up my cousins babysat for a couple with two kids.  They took them on vacation with them all the time.  Nice perk plus they got paid.

When my children were younger we used the Kid Camps on both Carnival and NCL.  They loved it because they got to be with other kids.  Not sure I would want a nanny.

My kids are all grown & I have no idea what the going rate is now on ships.  Yes, if my kids were young, I would use the services of a babysitter on a ship.  I waited, though, until my kids were old enough to stay up late and enjoy the cruising experience before I took them on cruises.

We did hire babysitters, though, at land resorts.  In Bermuda, a young girl and her family stayed at our resort.  She babysat twice for us.  Her parents said that they would check in once or twice & they did.  She also played with the kids during the daytime.

When Monique and I first moved to northern B.C. We brought on a Nanny for the kids. The young lady came from a Sister Parish from  Mexico through church and lived with us for a couple of years. She married a friend of the family. If the grand kids traveled with us when they were younger we would have a nanny if they were available.  This would be great for the long Panama cruise. It should cost about $25.00 per hour for a good worker.

I don't think my wife would let me have a nanny, but I'll ask.

I'd pay for the nanny to be at home with the kids so I could enjoy the cruise.
