Why the Locks ?

Why lock out threads ?  Why not just remove them ?

Sort of what took place with the jabbering thread.

Lots of good stuff on all of the threads - when things get nasty, locking the thread simply stops the escalating vitriol without losing the good stuff.

More democratic, I guess.

I read if a thread or post is deleted people will lose their points even those that were caught in the cross fire of the warring posters would lose their points.

I digressed  and fell back into my earlier days on FV and caused part of this to happen instead of letting the person vent over a petty issue.

Always best to play nice.

I thought the thread was just fine.  No warring.  We are adults. Not children to be put in time out.  Not everything has to be completely cruise related in my very humble opinion.  But honestly, it gets a little tiresome asking do you prefer straight straws or twisty straws?Happy

Did you ever drink milk through a flavored straw?

I swear it's him!!!

No, I have not had milk in quite some time.  Whose him?

Who I've said from the start. But the last post they made has me thinking it's the guy the takes pictures of his food or if you clicked on his avatar, it took you to his website where he sold pictures.
