Why I Hate the Press

Although I do feel for Jordyn and her family, the press seems intent on trying to tie the blame to an unnamed cruise line for her problems, without the support of the family.

The family even states on the Go Fund Me page that the illness was evident a year before her cruise. SMH

I honestly believe that true journalism is dead. I no longer watch the news. If something is happening I will look at and read what’s happening from several different outlets and try to determine what’s really happening. The press just drives me crazy.

Agreed, and Im not taking this thread on some political rant when I say the current occupant of the WH make just be correct with his complaining re "fake news.."...all the usual outlets for news seem to do is try to present virtually everything in such a way so you watch THEIR TV station, or buy THEIR paper rag...and if its not interesting or lurid enough, they'll MAKE it that way. Finding literate, objective NEWS reporting without grandstanding or "implications" is an impossibility..When I want editorial opinion, I used to read the editorial opinion pages...not anymore...That's why I watch a lot of sports, documentaries, old movies and so on instead....most of the time they cant even get the weather right....and WE know how important THAT is!

It is not that they are even trying to report responsibly. I read the story on 4 different sites, each had the same story word for word. One included a "representational photograph" of an Indian woman who had been shot in the face with a shotgun.
