I do because it helps spread the cool air around the cabin. And if we are not in the aft of the ship, it helps drown out the noise. Carnival lets you bring a fan as long as it is 12 inches or under.

Who takes a fan with them when you cruise?

I don't have any fans. I can't afford to hand out the requisite t-shirts that go along with self egrandization.
I thought about going there but restrained myself. You must've left your filter at the old place

The Mrs would love it, but I am NOT taking one. Good thing she does not read this website. Never have on a cruise, never will!
Never thought about doing that and I like the idea. Maybe my next cruise I will.
Actually I will take a fan next cruise- my little hand held one from cruiseline.com.
The Mrs uses it often.
I haven't in the past, but have packed one for my next cruise.
Yes of course, but only after confirming that the batteries were put in, with the little bumps towards the fan blade, and not upside down.
I will on this next cruise. My husband loves sleeping with a fan blowing in his face. And even though I hate the fan on me, I'm going to surprise him with one.

Mine didn't work. Can I sue?
