Which cities you don't want to visit again

Along the lines of my previous post, which cruise ports have you visited and never want to see again?

I'm still a newbie and don't have one yet.  Even Ensenada is a place that I have a slight interest in since they have horse riding excursions there.

Any place for you all that is a "never again" city?

Ironically, the US port of Astoria, Oregon is the place I felt least welcomed by the locals and store owners. Very few people were friendly and most seemed "bothered" that there was a cruise ship in town.

I've been to Ensenada several times and enjoyed doing an excursion to LaBufadora (the geyser blow hole) but other than that, not so much.  I chuckled when you said horseback riding as my son did that on a beach close to the pier - it consisted of a man running alongside a horse held by a rope as my son trotted across a beach area that had numerous dead rats....the guy never let go of the rope the entire time!!  Way different than say St. Thomas, where the horses romp along the ocean and sand and wind through nice areas....

I have visited virtually every port in the Caribbean and while some are better than others, all of them were worth seeing at least once!

Holy smokes!  I don't want to pay for that type of a horse riding excursion.  Was that incident in Ensenada then?  I've ridden horses, don't need someone holding the rope.  I know how to stop a horse if I need to.

Yes Ensenada ... my son kept telling him to let go of the rope ... I had a field day with photos and video from that day ...it was hilarious watching this big strapping guy being lead by this poor Mexican guy running down the beach ...We used to ride on the island of St. Croix when we lived there and it was a far different experience ...He's done it in St. Thomas more recently and enjoyed it.  My horseback riding days are over....

Wow your son is huge healthy young man.  He should be carrying that horse and the Mexican guy around!

Thanks for the info about that excursion.  Not so interested now.

LOL - he's 6'4 and a little heavier than usual in this picture after all the cruising we did....

Oh man.. I'd be so embarrassed.

Freeport and Nassau do me so far, I would go back but not very enthusiasically.  I've never been to Progresso, heard that's a port to skip

You can hear him in the video yelling "let go of the f$#g rope man! He'd kill me if he knew I posted this lol

Ahahahaa!  Love it.  Tell him he looks like a big baby missing his bonnet.. I double dare you!Happy
