If you go to web page of any festival you can get an idea of what one is like. But the best way is to visit one. Going in street clothes will give you a sampling, but going in some sort of outfit will make you feel part of the story. The larger festivals (6+ weekends) usually have a rental near the entrance. You will have to check to see which festivals are closest to you. Here are three you might consider:
