Where do you relax/hide during the day?

For me on princess ships it's usually Skywalkers lounge. Holland I usually will go to the crows nest.

Relaxing and hiding aren't necessarily mutually exclusive - but not always synonymous either? I tend to head for the cigar bar - although some ships have let theirs go to the point where it is not particularly pleasant (HVAC goes to heck and it reeks like an ashtray). This last trip on the Crown Princess and "Gatsby's Speak Easy" - was more than doable. I re-read Darwin's Voyage of the Beagle and got most of the way through Homer's Odyssey there - it's in the middle of the casino and just fore of the Princess Theater.

I chill on the balcony.

The only day I hide is Debarkation day.  Sadly, they always find me.

No one place.  Buffet, pool, trivia game, hot tub, gym, wine tasting, and on and on.  It’s relaxing to us, but I guess we’re not hiding at all. Happy

I'll be lazing, reading and enjoying the sun on an outside deck, wherever I can find a lounge chair.

On Carnival I like the Serenity...... on the old Fantasy class ships I like to sir in one of the window seats to read,  watch the sea and people watch.

Window seat if I can find one, or near the coffee shop.

I hide in plain sight on a deck chair in the sun...

I am not in one spot for long, just can not sit still for too long. I "cruise" through the lido in the early am to get coffee and a pastry, hangout watching the sun on the ocean, then get the family up and hit the seaday brunch, find a nice spot to chill in a window for a while, off to the casino, whatever sale is going on, bingo etc.

If I was to find a nice spot, it would not be your usual place, it would be a very out of the way place with some white noise and throw a towel over my head and I am happy. Maybe in the engine room or even in the galley in a forgotten spot. Not psychotic, but when I was young, I went to the elementary school where my mom was the lunchroom manager, we were there by 6 AM and I would sleep with the oven fans on and a nice heated spot. Guess I am trying to find the comforts of that time lol. You know this is the first time I have realized why I like to find a place like that!
