Why? its a further reality check. As those "dates" approach, the tension will rise IMHO. Clearly there are many peeps who still think they're somehow immune, because of their age etc. Or, incredibly, that the entire thing is somehow overblown. Frankly I don't understand any of that. But my original statement stands. Just announce ONE case onboard ONE ship, on anybody's line, and I can't begin to imagine the reaction. The current stoppage can be chalked up to a learning experience, not that the cruiselines had much choice. If they resume and someone has to announce another case, well then its all about resuming too fast and the profit motive.
I'll bet we're going to get all kinds of "anecdotal evidence" posts about "See I cruised and nothing happened..." Given the incubation period, the lack of a quick test, and many many peeps being asymptomatic but contagious, how would they even know "nothing happened"?, until later...fun ain't it?
