What to do when a fare drops on a cruise I already booked with NCL directly?

Do I call the cruise agency with your information?

Wait for it...…...CALL THEM!.....rebook it or get OBC equal to the price diff, if that satisfies you...either way, theyre cooperative...and whose information, mine? yours? somebody's???   and what cruise agency?   you said you booked with NCL directly...they're a cruise line, not a travel agency....

I did book directly on Norwegian’s website. I have no travel agent. I meant the information that I get when a price drops on cruise line.com

thank you for your help. I appreciate it.

Doesn't matter if you did it on NCL's website, or by talking to them...no difference as far as theyre concerned...call em, follow the prompts, you'll be taken care of...we do it periodically when theres a price "adjustment"....however, we book early to get the cabin and dinners we want...and not giving it up for a few bux...you "may" wind up switching cabins...so be careful...good;luck...

As long as it is not yet time for the final payment, they should either adjust the fare or the OBC to match the new price. If you previously booked with perks (OBC, Drink Package, etc) and they are not part of the new rate, you will probably lose them with the swap, so make sure you consider that with the re-pricing.

If it is after final payment, then you will probably not receive any concession.

Excellent points...I forgot about "the perks"...and he didn't mention where he was in the booking/payment process.....well done!!!

Call them. The worst that can happen is they say no. The best that can happen is a lot.

We usually book a cheaper room than what we'd really like to have and then take advantage of price drops to upgrade to the cabin we really want.  If the price drops don't happen, we'll be happy in the cabin we originally book.

thank you everyone!  You are wonderful.  What a great community. I really didn’t expect one response. But I received many!  You’ve been a great help!

Hang around and have fun with us :)  We'll enable your new addiction.
