What's your favorite cruise memory?

I'm pretty sure we've touched on this topic in the forum before, but I want to know what everyone's favorite cruise memory is!

It could have been from onboard, during your time in port, whatever. As long as it was during a cruise! Be as detailed as you want, tell us what about that memory made it so special and stick out in your mind.

Hopefully the days will fly by until we can cruise again and we can make new at-sea memories!

Night #4: The Quest Scavenger Hunt Game Show - Spectrum night club

Cruise director leading the event, and the item up was 3 pairs of Men's "Trousers" from each team.

With my background in various Academies and Bootcamps, I have zero shame, so my Shorts were the first to the podium!

Up next, the first team to sort their pants/shorts from the mound in the middle of the Spectrum dace floor and put them back on would receive a point...what ensued next could only be described as a Rugby Scrum:
3 guys dove head first into the pile, and started wrestling over everythiung. Suddenly shorts and pants began flying through the air. Somehow, mine were thrown right to me, however, with a new addition:

I have never laughed so hard on a cruise, or had such a good time in an event.

The cruise really does not matter, although it was a Princess cruise. My partner backed out. Solo cruise. I had always wanted to stay aboard at a port, so I did. Laying in the sun, the ship to myself (almost) the ships entertainment staff came topside to practice. I watched the dancers and the musicians practice for over an hour. What I learned ? The dancers were perfectionists. Time after time -- Perfect! The practice was mostly for the new band members and the sound crew. I have always appreciated the talents of the singers, dancers, and musicians. I had a private show. And I LOVED IT !!!

November 2003, my in-laws sponsored a family cruise with all their kids, spouses, and grand children on the Costa Mediterranean . For most of the 15 kids, it was their first cruise. The ship had a very large number of European guests, and many of the women would sunbath topless on the sun deck. We were walking, with 5 boys in tow, not expecting the view. But as we approached a couple of topless sunbathers, the boys were caught off guard, jaws dropped and followed the sunbathers. A few minutes later the boys went off on their own, and found them hanging out in a game room over looking the sunbathers. It was an interesting cruise.

Hey Aunt Pinkie, Thought you would have mentioned the balcony clubBig Smile

Best memory?

What a wonderful memory. BTW: I accidentally hit the inappropriate button on the balcony club post. I am sorry. I was planning to say “what happens on the ship stays on the ship!”

Don't worry, I put it back Wink
