For traveling out of a US port my favorite is St Maarten, Great beaches, nice people good drinks. I had a blast bar hopping down the beach there.

For Europe as a day port, Santorini...the views, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Great food and drink and nice locals. It is one of the places I will get back to in time.

For a stay over before or after a cruise for me it is Rome, I have spent a week in Rome a few times before and after a cruise and I will do it again. the history, the buildings, the FOOD, OMG the food, the wine, such nice people and easy to get around on the Sub Way system Also, the Italian clothing fits better for us thin folks the the stuff here in the states. Rome is a city I'd consider renting an apartment for a month

We really like Aruba. The people seem to want you to visit and not just your money. The motto is "The Happy Island" and I think it really is. We have gone on an Island tour and found the place full of fascinating landscape. We have also just walked around and felt safe.

Bora Bora and Morrea, we just love the islands and my wife is a snorkeler and she loves those waters.
