What is your favorite port and why?

Ours is Grand Turk. We have been there about 7 or 8 times. We love it there so much that we would love to retire there. It will probably never happen though :(
I like it there so much because of the beautiful clear blue water and that it is so small, layed back and slow. The US is so rushed. There's only 5000 people that live there. Not like some densely populated ports we've been to. We will be going back next year again and I can't wait.

There is definitely something to be said for Island Time. I have threatened going expat once I retire just to live that dream.

And then hurricane season starts and dashes that dream.

I have yet to find my favourite port. I am also yet to find a port that I did not like. I love them all as each has it's own unique beauty and atmosphere and treasures. I look at it like I look at most things ... I rate the best things that I have experienced so far as second best because I have not yet found the best. There are way too many experiences out there to already declare the best. Maybe as one of the last things I do might be to declare a favourite of anything.

I would have to say St. Kitts, the landscape alone took my breath away! While there I wondered if the locals ever got tired of view. Then we toured and laid on the beach. Island time is definitely a real thing! If retiring anywhere was an option, St. Kitts would be on the short list. Everything about the island was wonderful!

I would have to say Singapore. We are going there for the third time early next year. We will spend six days there before the cruise. On our first visit we stayed two days, last time four days, but we still haven't seen all the interesting places the city has to offer. Maybe this time we will have enough exploration tie.

I can’t say I have one for so many reasons. We love Alaska, Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Deer Mountain trail in Ketchikan. Then of course you have Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea just Wow. I loved Corb Ireland and Guernsey England. I can not pick just one.

My favorite port is a port that I have not visited previously. I like the thrill of exploring something different.
