What is your favorite or most memorable beverage/cocktail on any ship and why?

This article https://cruiseline.com/advice/quizzes/fun-stuff/cruise-cocktail-recipes-you-can-make-home got me thinking? What is your favorite or most memorable beverage/cocktail on any ship and why?

I loved the Mojitos at the Mojito Bar on NCL Joy and sharing the Rebellious Fish in the fish bowl for a giant drink!Yummy

For a Virgin drink, I loved the Iglu a frozen coffee drink on Norwegian. Or any Starbucks for a pick me up.

I would have to say unequivocally that the hands down best was found on a cruise but off the ship in San Juan at a place called Chocobar Cortes where all of the food and drinks are made with chocolate. The chocolate grilled cheese was awesome but the drink .....

Don Pedro - Don Q añejo, Dos Maderas 5 year rum, lemon, ginger syrup, dark chocolate - outstanding

OMG. Well now I need to go back to San Juan as soon as realistically possible...

I'm coming with you CruiselineSarah! Big Smile

98% of the cocktails I've had on ships have been pretty good. The most memorable is actually a BAD one. It was on Celebrity Edge in the Eden bar , a drink called "Fig". It was awful - tasted like an antibiotic you'd have to drink as a kid. The bartender gave me a new one, I think called "Earth" and it wasn't much better. I came to the conclusion the theme beverages in that bar were not going to get any better. (The food in Eden was great - probably the best meal we've had on that ship).

Ugh, You bring up a great point @cruisellama most of the drinks I've had on cruise ships were watered down mud tasting concoctions. I'll be sure to avoid Fig or Earth--I hope they gave you your money back !! thanks for sharingWink

I was wondering about the cocktails in Eden. They look so interesting and fresh since they use that herb wall! I hope some of the others are better :/

We thought Eden would be similar to what you find in a Wonderland bar (RCL Symphony etc), but a totally different palette. Food was great! (Found the Wonderland bar to more enjoyable drinks) The herb wall is pretty cool. There's also one (outside) near the Terrace Grill on the aft upper deck.

Bushwhacker at Paradise Point on St Thomas. Still have the fridge magnet with the recipe.

Foster's in the Oil Cans! I had never seen a beer in that size/type of can until I went on a cruise.

According to some of the Aussies we befriended from the crew on our last cruise on Allure, it is what they call a "Proper Pint"...its over a pint and a half...Yummy

That is a sweet story
