What is your favorite cruise line?

I personally have been using NCL because of their free perks, but I am starting to see them cutting back on things and am wondering if I should try another cruise line for our next cruise. What are your favorites or least favorites and why?

Princess is my hands down favorite for the combination of price, amenities, and atmosphere.

So far I would say my favorite is MSC next would probably be NCL only because they offer the discount airfare.

Looking to see what other cruise line also offer air.

So far Carnival. They have given us quite the big bang for not a big buck!

Pretty Solid on RCI.

We've had fantastic times on the 4 ships we have been on, with excellent customer service experiences at all times. Our goal is to travel on all 9 ship classes(Including the new "ICON" Class). We've already completed Oasis, Empress, and Sovereign Class, with another Oasis, and Vision Class in 20, and 21

Its going to take a drastic change(or a KILLER deal) to get us to travel on another line

The fact that several experienced cruisers choose different lines, tells a wonderful tale! There is a cruise line that fits every taste. While cruising isn't for everyone (sadly it's true), we can agree that each line has a nitch and we are lucky to be able to sample them as needed! Please keep the answers coming!

well said AuntPinkie!

For the most cost effective, quality of food, ports, etc. it has to be Celebrity for us. We've done about 50 cruises on Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival Norwegian and Celebrity and and except for the entertainment on RCCL, Celebrity tops them all.

We’ve been on 95 cruises so far, on 14 different cruise lines (plus the next 5 booked!) and I don’t think we have a favorite cruise line. We do have favorite things on different cruise lines: Favorite stateroom, Avalon Waterways. Favorite entertainment, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Favorite service, AmaWaterways and Azamara. Favorite food, Carnival (guilty pleasure food at least). Favorite drink package, Viking River. Favorite buffet, Celebrity. Favorite shore excursions, Avalon Waterways Active & Discovery. Favorite room service, Princess. The list goes on and we discover new favorites all the time.

That’s why we love trying new ships and cruise lines whenever we can! We find they are all awesome in different ways. It entirely depends on what you’re looking for in your cruise, where you want to go and what type of vacation is right for you. Every cruise line is the best one for someone!

We are die hard Disney/ DCL fans and despite the cost, the quality of food and entertainment make up for the extra up front. Our friends ask if we’ll switch when our daughter gets older but at this point I think we’re hooked 😃

carnival but I’ve only cruised with them
