What is the biggest mistake you made cruising?

Attempting to carry off my own luggage was a huge fiasco as I wound through the aisles and aisles of people with luggage.  I thought I would save time but I was exhausted by the time I got to Customs.  Now I keep a small carry-on and let the baggage go down the night before.  Retrieval is simple and organized and/or a porter is available to help you.

Deciding I wanted to be first boarding, so I showed up at the port about 8:00.

Adding insult to injury, it was extremely foggy and the ship didn't even arrive until after 11:00, and boarding finally started around 3:00.

We did the same thing on our first cruise but luckily enjoyed exploring things around Long Beach.

Getting off the ship at the end. Should've hidden in a lifeboat :)

Our biggest mistake was getting a cabin under the shops. We figured they don't even open in port and at 9:00 sea days, so it should be quiet. Every morning at 6:00 there was what sounded like stomping, boxes being dropped, marbles being dropped all kinds of racket ...now we try to only have cabins above and below us.

Not sure is this qualifies as a mistake but, I was trying to make my way through Customs and while the guy was checking my Declaration form, a the lady in front of me asked if I would be so kind to hold her pass port while she stuffed her purse. She moved on while I was answering the Customs dude questions and stuff her pass port into my lap top back pack. Nine hours later after arriving home, I noticed I had her pass port.

Mine was the young and dumb stuff... Met a boy on the first night and hung out with him, never went to sleep for over 24 hours, thought we would meet up and hang out again.. Nope... and then the young 20 something get drunk and partied too hard, threw up in the bed mistake.... Never drink liquid cocain shots and long island iced teas together.....

Yup me too.

Where would you hide.

Waited to long to start cruising. Should have started years earlier

The biggest Mistake was taking my first cruise, now I'm addicted. Wink I could have saved a small fortune if I never started cruising.

I realized the hard way there are too many camera's to try this one. Sad
