What Do You Think About Robot Bartenders?

Do you like the idea of having a robot mix your drink for you instead of a real bartender? I suppose that means you would get a perfect drink every time. On the other hand your favorite bartender wouldn't be giving you a free drink or a stronger drink..

Thanks BAK, I have not run across those yet. But I tend to just buy the bottle since I know we will not stop at just one glass. LOL

We’re the same JusMe. On top of that, we like the idea that they’ll save the bottle for us for the next night, but it’s not often that we actually need them to! Yummy

I have never heard about robot bartenders before. In which country they have used my friend? In which company, I am working as a bartender, there are a couple of bartenders and all are human beings. I don't think there would be robot bartenders. You must be kidding around.. I don't believe you..

I'll find out for you.

RCCL's Quantum of the bartenders don't look like humans, they are just robotic arms. I guess they are more novelty for the high tech ship. Must be fun to watch.

RCCL's Quantum of the Seas uses robots as bartenders. They are efficient and fast- also accurate. Your order drinks using a tablet. You can customize or use a signature or classic recipe. They don't look human. They are just robotic arms. They are probably more novelty than anything else for this high tech ship. I also think that Germany has one also. Ships don't have to pay them a salary, health care or give them vacations but they don't come cheap, either. Thanks for replying.

Do they still charge the 15% automatic gratuity? (Sorry, I'm in a grumpy mood this morning).

I think that if I had a choice, I'd rather be served by a human. I guess I'm just a bit old fashioned.

They're lousy listeners, and they never fill the peanut bowl.

This will not happen. One way for drinkers to get away with ordering more drinks than they should.

Probably better because they are exact and consistent.
