After living in Las Vegas and having a shop in a Casino when I was 21, I'm over it. On a ship I avoid the casino because of the smokers stink in the casino. I used to play Roulette and Blackjack back in the day.

Strictly a slots kind of gal. I play the penny slots and let my mind disengage for an hour or until my budget for that session expires. Which is why I rarely get any casino offers... never spend enough.Crying

I play the slots only more fun

slots, slots, lots of slots

I take a $20 in play four hands of blackjack and I’m done for the cruise. Hey I played five hands once.

I am a night owl, so I usually hit the casino late after my family or friends fall in for the night. I like Blackjack or poker. Next cruise is with Princess...not sure what they offer. Anyone know if I will find a 5.00 Blackjack table? Do they offer double-deck or is it all 6 or 8 deck from the shoe?

If DW falls asleep early, I hit the casino. Roulette first; then the slots if I don't lose at the table. I have asthma, so I have to take the casino in small doses. I can't stay in there with the smoke for long periods. Like AuntPinkie, I like the penny slots, but will try the dollar slots from time to time. We don't have many casinos in Texas, so its a treat to be in one.

I also join in the slot tournaments when they have them. Once, I finished in the top three, but did not advance. The advantage to the slot tournament is you only lose what you invested in buying in to the tournament.

The only time we have ever done anything in the casino was on the last 2 cruises where members of that other not to be named board gather to do a group slot pull where everyone throws in $15 each and it is pooled. Everyone then pulls 3 or 5 times depending on the machine and the winnings are equally split.

I do this as well but $40. I usually break even or win a few bucks and I'll play a few times a cruise. if I start losing I cry and take my ball and go home....

When I go, I'll take a $100 donation and spin the penny slots. The odds are likely the poorest in the casino, but the donation lasts longer.

For those of you who like the casino but hate the smoke, Celebrity ships do not allow smoking anywhere inside -- including the casino.
