What do you do with your stuff when on a water/beach excursion?

Any suggestions what to do with phones, credit cards, and money when on an excursion? Can't leave it with the chair, or if snorkeling, what do you do?

Leave someone in your group behind to watch it.  No other alternative as far as I am concerned.

There are some pretty snazzy waterproof pouches out there that hold phone and I.D., could probably stuff a little cash inside.

I read about some small bag/safes that lock to your chair, but wouldn't a thief just swipe the chair too? Not sure about that idea, will require more research. I just keep my valuables with me.

We have bought some on the water proof case and I place our phone small wallet I carry in and go out. Just don’t buy this item on the cheap. Read the reviews and make an informed decision. But I also have to agree with kergan66, leaving someone behind does work best. The wife and I travel buy ourselves most of the time. So the waterproof pouch works for us.

Agree with either the waterproof pouch or leaving someone behind unless of course you are lucky enough to be somewhere that offers lockers.

Any suggestion regarding which waterproof pouch to purchase?

Thanks again.

I bought a Kyss bag it locks shut, you can lock it to chairs around trees etc. works great

I use a waterproof pouch that I purchased from Amazon. I've used it on three cruises and it has never failed. Of course I checked it out in my bathtub first to make sure it really was waterproof. I placed cash, credit card and an old broken iPod touch for the test. I think It cost me about $20. Check out Amazon.

I guess the water-proof pouch is the best option, go out on the excursion with the minimum you can manage..!!

There are tons available on Amazon.. just make sure you test them in water before you stuff your phone in..!!
