What awesome item have you purchased in the Caribbean (besides alcohol & jewelry)?

Bought some Nut-Med in Grenada that is awesome for arthritis, joint pain etc.  It was around $7 ... Amazon sells it for 3 times the price but it is amazing.  Used by Grenada's Olympic runner ...

Interesting... I usually do booze and jewelry... My BF's mom wants us to pick up some vanilla our time in Cozumel.

If I find that, I might have to get a bottle....Lots of joint and pain issues with family

Seriously, look into Nut-Med ... I took it to a group of women playing Bunco and everyone tried a spritz for various ailments -- they could not believe the almost instant relief. It was created for the runner who won the Olympics in Grenada and is 100% natural.

I'm assuming that you did not find it in a souvenir store. or did you??

Its everywhere in the market area and comes in lotion or spray ... the natives are happy to talk about their Olympic winner and why and how the product was made.

I busted my knee cap when my Labrador dragged me down a hill face first. It flares up on occasion and the pain is excruciating. Couple sprays of this stuff and it is completely gone in seconds!

Go to www.nutmedusa.com to read more about it.

my mom has fibromyalgia so I'm thinking it would be great for her. Now if i can find it in Falmouth or cozumel....

In her case, I would order it online at amazon and pay a little extra because it is so phenomenal. I'm not a lotion / potion person and usually shy away from most "fix all" type things but this stuff works!. One of my friends has fibromyalgia and now swears by it - especially on her arms and shoulders - she uses the lotion rather than the spray. The odor is non-existent but pleasant enough when you apply. The funny part is that I mainly bought it because the lil old Grenadian woman I bought it from was soooooooooooo proud of their Olympian and swore this made him win. I rarely recommend a product if ever but this is an exception. I'm bringing back a case when I'm in Grenada in November lol.

For our last anniversary cruise we did a vow renewal. At the upper tier gift show, they had a pair of Swarovski crystal love birds. I did some research and they actually had the best price I could find so we bought them on the ship.

Can you buy it in other ports?
