Weather Ruining your vacay

Has anyone ever been on a cruise where it has rained every day?  THinking that would be a real bummer!

Depending on where the cruise was I could possibly live with that. So long as it was in a warm and tropical climate some rain is just a swimming pool without boundaries. Being rained on is not my favourite pass time but I can think of worst things. I have gone camping and taken hiking trips spanning several days when it rained the entire time. You still manage to have fun.

It didn't rain every day, but I went through a hurricane once.

How was that, rough seas?  That would have been fun!

I've only had great weather on my cruises. If I ever have a rainy cruise, I would just eat and drink through it.

Not every day but several.... this was still a good cruise. There is so much to do.  We did however, learn our lesson about having an umbrella in the suitcase.  Now, we each have one packed for shore excursions.

Well my take would be if it was raining in the Caribbean, I would be in the water anyways, plus my drink doesn't usually last that long to get watered down anyways, but still, we need the sun!  LOL

On the first port, on our first cruise we were sailing into Hilo Hawaii. It was February 2009 and we had been on the cruise for 5 days. We flew out of Edmonton Alberta, it was snowing and 15 below-- C. We had booked a kayaking adventure over to some waterfalls across  the bay.

It was pouring rain and the poor guide  was so apologetic to us about the rain, she was almost heartbroken. We explained where we were from, what winter looked liked where we were from and that rain and 85 degree F was like a shower at home.

Point is, Every thing in perspective....Big Smile

The rain would definitely put a damper on things, but it would fall way short of ruining a cruise!

We’ve had rainy days but not rain every day and it’s never kept us from having a great cruise!

Same here.
