Weather

Anyone who has done cruising in November. Can you share how the weather has been? Will be going to Cozumel Mexico & Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan. Will the water be ok to swim in? Any advice for that season of cruising? Thank You in advance. Big Smile

Coming from a colder climate (Colorado) I have found the waters in the Caribbean warm even in December.  You should not have any problem.  Welcome to the forum and cruising.

Totally agree with AuntPinkie. Cruised the week after thanksgiving for my first cruise. Coming from NE OH thought I died and went to heaven. You love it.

Welcome to the forum, we are from NC, so maybe we are weather chimps, but we were in cozumel 11.27.17 and that day the water was a bit cool for us. BUT, it was a beautiful day to chill in the hot tub at the El Cud r eww let we had booked.

We are going back this coming last week of November, best wishes for an awesome cruise!

Agreed, welcome to the forum!

We have taken 2 cruises in November and enjoy not having to deal with the extreme heat. We actually did that Itinerary in November. I wore shorts and sun dresses everyday but found myself wearing a light weight sweater in the morning, sometimes late evening if out on deck. You have to do that anytime of the year in some places on the ship with the air conditioning and the late night breeze anyway. We have not had a problem with going to the beach and enjoying the ocean temperature in November in the Caribbean. We are from Georgia though, where we have unpredictable weather so I'm use to packing  " just in case ". Nervous LOL !  Hope you have a enjoyable cruise !

Have cruised 3 times in November. 2 out of NYC and 1 out of Boston. The 2 from NYC were to the Bahamas and swimming was great. The one from Boston was a repo to NOLA and covered the first half of the month. The weather was perfect for the entire 2 weeks. Temps in the 80s and in the southern and western Caribbean very humid. Cozumel was very warm. Cheers.
