Water deals Carneval Magic

Hi; first-timer on a cruise with young kids. Wondering what is most economical way to go about drinking water usage? We will be on the Magic Aug 4th and wondering if we could use empty bottles to get free refills on board? Or do we have to buy every ounce we drink ? Thanks for all your help :-)

You can always get ice and cups of water on the Lido deck. Bottled water from the funshops isn't that expensive. Another option would be to bring yeti type cups and refill them in the buffet area when ever you want. You can get water at all the eating venues including dinner for free. The water taste fine by the way. So I guess my answer is you wont have to pay for every drop.

If you must have bottled water, go to your "manage my cruise page" and click on "fun shops". There you can order water to be delivered to your cabin: https://www.carnival.com/FunShops/in-stateroom-beverages/water

Otherwise follow the excellent advice of scottasp.

A glass of ice water from any bar is also free.

The tap water on board is as clean, or cleaner, than commercial bottled water.

If you are looking to take water off the ship, you can refill any water bottle or travel mug right from the cabin tap.

Thanks for all your answers. We are not particular about bottled water, we thought it was the only option. So is it confirmed we could just use tap water to drink and it is safe to drink it ?

Yes - the water from the tap is absolutely safe -- and tastes good too!

If you explor around the hall where your room it you might find a galley behind an unmarked door. They put dirty room service dishes and stuff in there. There is an ice machine probably not supposed to use it but is save the walk up to the lido deck if you are on a lower deck
