Want port info and tips

We're (family with grandparents, married couple, single women and kids - teens to preteen)sailing 3/10 on Carnival Freedom from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Turk, La Romano, Curacao and Aruba. I'd love suggestions on where to go, what to see, reputable local tour providers. Thanks!

That is a very nice itinerary! Have you checked out our port guides? We have a guide for each of your port of call. Just scroll to the top of this page and click on the "Ports" tab and you will find all you need to know about each port. As for suggestions on tours, besides what is already on the port guides, make sure you take the Salsa Bus tour in Curacao. My parents went on it and raved about it. If you make it to the mainland, when you go to La Romana, try to make it out to Bayahibe (depending on how much time you have while the ship is in port). They have the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Aruba (http://meetoncruise.com/ports/Aruba.php) Curacao (http://meetoncruise.com/ports/Curacao.php) Grand Turk (http://meetoncruise.com/ports/Grand-Turk.php) La Romana (http://meetoncruise.com/ports/La-Romana.php) Ft. Lauderdale (http://meetoncruise.com/ports/Ft-Lauderdale.php)

We are headed for Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao and a private island aboard Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas.

Thanks for the port info... when I clicked on Ports, Aruba wasn't listed so these are really helpful... except they don't load - it says... page not available.

I am visiting all 3 next month so will give an updated review of three ports I already love!

Snorkeling in Aruba is great.

We are doing this same cruise next October. I'd love to hear your review when you return!

If you sign up for the Ship Mate smart phone app and sing up for the roll call it will have each port you visit with non-ship excursions, suggestions of whet to do and see by prior travelers. It is a great resource to have with you when traveling.

Nice itinerary... I can only speak of the Ft. Lauderdale port which I have cruised out of a few times. Never really had an issue... Get a hotel before, and get the shuttle before and after.

I love Aruba. It's easy to get around.

I think that all of the above information is enough to get you started. Enjoy your cruise.
